You will receive check in instructions sent to your email. We offer a remote check in either directly at the property or with our office lockbox. Our office is located on 2500 N. Palm Canyon Dr. Ste B-5, Palm Springs CA 92262. Prior to any keys issued, you must be Paid in Full and have completed and turned in your Vacation Stay Agreement.
In the event that you must cancel your reservation, please notify us in writing as soon as possible. If written notice is received at least 30 calendar days prior to your arrival date, refunds of advanced payments will be refunded minus the booking fee and booking fee taxes. The booking fee is considered earned at time of reservation. If cancellation occurs within 30 calendar days of your arrival date, or 60 days of your arrival for a month or longer reservation, any refund is subject to the ability of Manager to re-rent the property. Every effort will be made to re-rent the property. However, if the property is not re-rented, no money will be refunded. If the property is re-rented, all monies received minus the booking fee and booking fee taxes (if applicable).
Reservations of one month or greater, cancellation notice must be received at least 60 calendar days prior to your arrival. Any canceled reservation held for 120 days or longer will result in a forfeiture of all monies paid. If we are able to re-rent the property for the nights you have cancelled, after the guest checks-in you will receive a refund for the nights re-booked; refund subject to standard cancelation fee which includes the booking fees and booking fee taxes.
Included in the clean you receive a complimentary starter kit of supplies including shampoo, conditioner, bath and body soap, laundry detergent, paper towels etc. The departure clean includes toilets, tubs, mirrors, floors, and bathrooms all cleaned in full. Linens and towels are washed and beds are remade. Fresh towels are hung in the bathrooms. We clean the kitchen starting with the refrigerator, stove, and counters. We vacuum all the floors, dust all the window sills, and remove all cobwebs. We hose and sweep down the patio and entry. We try to make sure the toaster, breadboard, and microwave are cleaned and ready for the next tenant. We also report to the owner any additional cleaning suggestions which might improve the property.
As part of your cleaning fee, a pre-arrival inspection is conducted 24 hours in advance by one of our in-house staff associates. Pictures are taken before and after your occupancy to document the status of the property.
Guests are able to add pool heating from October 1 to June 1. During the summer months guests are only able to heat the Hot Tubs.
All of our private home residences have pools. During the winter months (Starting October-May) optional pool heat may be requested. Pool Heat pricing for individual homes differs based upon the size and scale of the pool.
We require for all reservations a Damage Insurance Protection Policy. The damage waiver covers unintentional damages to the rental unit interior that occur during your stay, provided they are disclosed to management prior to check-out. The policy will pay a maximum benefit of $2000. Any damages that exceed $2000 will be charged to the credit card on file from the renter. Additional security deposits may be required for certain properties.

All of our vacation rentals are furnished and have a full kitchen with amenities including a microwave, coffee maker, toaster and blender. Each property is stocked with all cooking and serving including plates, bowls and utensils, as well as a can opener, corkscrew measuring spoons and more. A complimentary starter kit of supplies is provided in the rental which includes; two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, kitchen sponge, 1 Large Paper towel, hand soap, dish soap and standard cleaning supplies. If you are traveling and staying with us for more than the weekend you will be responsible for restocking supplies during your stay.
50% first deposit is required to book the reservation. Your balance is due 30 days prior to your arrival. If you are arriving in less than 30 days you will need to be paid in full.

Rentals of less than 28 nights are subject to a transient occupancy tax of 9%,10%, or 11.5% depending upon property location. The City of Palm Springs also imposes the 11.5% tax on the cleaning fee.
Palm Springs: 11.50% for all reservations 28 days or less
Cathedral City: 12.00% for all reservations 30 days or less
Rancho-Mirage: 10.00% for all reservations 28 days or less
Palm Desert: 9.00% for all reservations 28 days or less
La Quinta : 10.00% for all reservations 31 days or less
Properties in McLean Company Rentals’ rental program are required to adhere to a Minimum Furnishing List. All of our homes and condos provide the following amenities (unless otherwise noted in the property description):

We do not leave any chemicals in the home. As part of the cleaning fee, we do provide each arriving guest with a starter kit of hand & body soap, toilet paper & Kleenex, shampoo & conditioner for each bathroom, dish washing & laundry soap, & trash bags. A 24 hour pre-arrival Inspection is conduction prior to check-in. This pre-arrival ensure that the property is rent ready and adheres to our company standards. Digital photos are taken to document the status of the property both at pre-arrival and check-out clean.
All properties managed by McLean Company Rentals are non-smoking. Please respect the property and do not smoke inside.
Credit Card, E-check, money order, direct deposit, wire transfer. There is a $45.00 per transfer fee for U.S Transactions. Types of Credit Cards accepted: Visa, Master Card, American express. There is a 3 % convenience fee for the use of the credit card.
